Phil’s cartoons have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, Barron’s, San Francisco Chronicle, Commonweal, The Chronicle of Higher Education, New Statesman, Private Eye, Prospect, and many other publications in the U.S. and U.K., as well as books, calendars, and greeting cards.  He has also collaborated as a writer for other cartoonists, most notably Dan Piraro (with over 25 “Bizarro” cartoons to his credit). Phil is also the co-creator of the “Bob and Ivan” comic strip. Phil’s work has been exhibited at the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco. He was a cartoonist-in-residence at the Charles Schulz Museum in Santa Rosa, California.
